The Borrower Arrietty

The Borrower Arrietty (借りぐらしのアリエッティ /Karigurashi no Arietti?) was officially announced by Studio Ghibli on 16 December 2009. The film, an adaptation of Mary Norton's 1952 novel The Borrowers, marked the directorial debut of Ghibli animator Hiromasa "Maro" Yonebayashi, with supervision by Hayao Miyazaki. The film opened in roadshow release in Japan on 17 July 2010.

Though the original story was set in 1950's England, this version of the story is set in present-day Koganei, the western suburb of Tokyo where Studio Ghibli is located

the sory is about 14-year-old Arrietty and the rest of the Clock family live in peaceful anonymity as they make their own home from items that they borrow from the house's human inhabitants. However, life changes for the Clocks when a human boy discovers Arrietty.

no face (spirited away)

No-Face is a monster (according to Lin). Things about him are unknown. His height and weight depends, because he can get really fat and really huge if he eats to much.

Chihiro met No-Face one time on a rainy day. She let the door open for No-Face, because Chihiro thought he was a customer. No-Face can make as much gold (which it turns to be just dirt) as he wants.

As he entered the building, he made all the workers give him food, so they can get all his gold. But Sen saved the workers by giving him some medicine from a water spirit. As Chihiro gave him the medicine, No-Face vomited everywhere, and chased Chihiro everywhere. As Chihiro was about to get on a train to go to Zeniba's house, No-Face wanted to come, and they became friends. Then No-Face stayed with Zeniba, because No-Face was really good at spinning thread and other things.

The character No Face greatly resembles a silkworm, an important animal in Japanese culture. No face seems to have a white face and a mouth below it. Silkworms have markings that look like facial features, and their mouths are below these markings.

Silkworms and No Face eat constantly and grow rapidly. At the end of the movie, No Face goes with Sen to visit Zeniba. No Face stays with Zeniba spinning silk.

lol seems like i started addict to post everything in my blog yeaaww
this is a graduation production made by three students graduated from the National Taiwan University of Arts.

the main character of little girl in the story confronts a robbery and strays from the road she is familiar with. after passing a hedge, she enters an unknown world and unfolds a magical adventure depending on senses other than vision and her imagination. with soft and cute colors as the main key, we used simple designs to depict the little girls' imaginary world.

thi is such a truly heartwarming piece... when something like this comes along, it really can make one feel so incredibly thankful for the abilities and functions that one has that are taken for granted all too frequently.

the execution of your idea is without flaw, and does an incredible job of illustrating so many concepts without the use of words, and in such a understandable way!
